Michele Bachman's first thought? It ain't about jobs for Americans...

  1. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) signaled what she sees as her "motivation in life" at a Republican dinner in Montana over the weekend.

"I take my first political breath every morning with one thought in mind," the Tea Party darling told her audience, the Missoulian reports. "Repeal Obamacare... That's my motivation in life."

According to the Treasure State-based outlet, Bachmann said the health care reform package signed into law by President Barack Obama last year really "is something else." She reportedly went on to revive a criticism she's unleashed multiple times before, characterizing the legislation as "the crown jewel of socialism."

The conservative superstar used the very same language in taking aim at health care reform last month, as well as around this time last year when she suggested the bill amounted to "gangster government."

In her speech over the weekend, Bachmann said, "President Obama, and I'm willing to say it, ushered in socialism under his watch." She later added, "My opinion is we can't shut this president down fast enough."

  2. repealing obamacare will create jobs dipshit.

  3. Not about jobs, not about immigration, not about the deficit, not about terrorism, not about energy, not about any real solution to any real problem...just a mindless obsession about the law on health care.

What a one trick pony...no wonder she appeals to the type of person who defends her...and she is taking the minority position that health care should not be affordable for everyone.

Oh well, brain deads come to the rescue of a brain dead...

  4. The market is rallying, despite Egypt, because Obamacare is being dismantled, by the courts and the repeal of 1099 requirement. [IMG]

kinda like the one-track mind of the administration and all the democrats for the entire first two years of obama's presidency. obsess on obamacare.

  6. They passed Obamacare, and also did many other things...

For now it is in the courts, and we will see what happens.

However, since it is in the courts, Bachman has no power over what happens, so perhaps her obsession with something she can't control should be diverted to working with the president and democrats to say, create jobs, strengthen our weakening infrastructure, control of illegals, cutting waste in government (especially the military), ending the nonsense in Iraq and Afghanistan, allowing the people of Egypt to continue to be a sovereign nation, etc. ,etc., etc.

i would disagree and say she can affect it through constant reminder that it needs to be changed. but no where in her comments (that you posted - maybe she said more that you didnt) did she say anything about how none of those things werent important.

she just said she has a moby dick, and that just happens to be obamacare.

  8. I am in favor of reforming Obamacare to a single payer system and putting the corrupt insurance companies out of business, but I don't see that as the most important problem America faces today.

I see the number one problem of America, or better put, the number one solution to the problems of America as becoming energy independent and free from the grip of the oil companies and the influence of foreign oil.

Solutions, solutions, solutions...something Bachman and her ilk don't have.

"she just said she has a moby dick"

She may have a moby dick, who knows what is under that skirt...I'm not interested in looking...

Bachmann's a joke. We can't have productive political discourse with idiots like her crying 'socialism' and repeating debunked numbers. It's a dog and pony show. I respect conservative ideas but this is just petty, political, insincere BS. She's a joke.
