You have to give a pass to politicians for what their preacher says. You can't listen to a preacher very often without them saying some crazy shit. Hell the whole premise of religion requires a complete suspension of common sense and reason. And a politician unfortunately can't get elected without some church affiliation. The only time we need to worry is if the politician really believes the crazy shit they here at church. Does Bachmann?

Reason can be a religion. To have to suspend reason to worship is true with the desert religions. Spawning from ass pit of the world. This is not true of older faiths. Reason and enlightenment are worshiped and sought after. We have spent much of our youth studying Pythagoras and everything that spawns from it. Reason will lead to truth, much more important than faith. There is truth or lies. Reason can be your truth. And you will be with scientists when they find what wise people know. It is only because of the Jerusalem garbage we have a disconnect. Reason can be your religion if you break free from this garbage. You do not have to worship that crap or believe your an ape. There is a third option and it happens to be true. And our political leaders should be followers of reason and the truth, and be philosopher kings. Bachman is an idiot.
