  1. Thought I'd ask about one of dgabriel, trader556, and Madison's favorite authors (along with Rush Limbaugh).

His book was # 1 on the NY Times Bestseller list for a couple of weeks and is now at # 3.

    So, whaddya think.....

"Michael Savage is the host of The Savage Nation, a radio program that airs on over 300 stations nationwide. A self-described victim of "truth-in-mouth syndrome," he claims to be "the only man in the country saying it the way it really is." His stated purpose for writing the book is to save a "homosexualized, feminized America" from a liberal assault that is "unraveling the very fabric of this great nation." Declaring that "a minority of feminist zealots rule the culture," he blames Democrats and liberals for everything from a general decline in morals in the United States to bringing the Taliban to power in Afghanistan. Although one chapter is entitled "Crimes of the Democrats" (with special attention paid to Al Gore), Savage is no Republican stooge--this "bipartisan basher" reserves plenty of venom for the GOP as well, particularly regarding immigration, one of his favorite subjects. Savage calls for a severe tightening of U.S. borders and vigilant racial profiling in order to combat terrorism and the spread of infectious diseases. He also rails against liberal media bias, big government, the lack of prayer in schools, rampant pornography, the UN, the ACLU, and a host of social ills that he believes were caused almost exclusively by hippies in the 1960s and the Clinton administration in the 1990s."

    :D

  3. Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon are probably organizing a boycott to get him off the air this very minute.

  4. LOL!

Did you catch Tim Robbins a couple of weeks ago on Bill Maher's HBO show? That dude would let Bin Laden into the White House for a friendly chat to resolve our differences. What a damned shame he happens to be the star of one of my favorite movies of all time - The Shawshank Redemption.

  5. wow, he's everything i hope my kids never become.

as brother candle might put it, may his stupidity shift the equilibrium of average human intellect to my seed, for his boundless stupidity will no doubt be balanced by boundless intellect to one lucky soul, via the quiet hand of Equilibrium.

    shalom!

  6. seen him on cable news a few times - he made a few good points, generally, esp. regarding PC, but usually fell into exaggeration and sensationalism. insulting people, however, gets publicity. seems to be working.

limbaugh is useless, as are most of the McNews regulars - hannity, carville, bennett, etc. - there is no need to listen, as they will agree with their party's line, no matter what. whatever they say is just a rehash of the hype du jour. O'reilley is a bit different, in that he makes up his own mind sometimes - but once made, he refuses to believe that anyone could possibly disagree.

  7. the difference is O'reilly has the mind of a ten year old. i really think he's an idiot. :-/
