Stucco is essentially a form of cement troweled on in layers, it can also be blown on in larger applications using concrete pumps. It is very strong and very tough. Many buy new houses, that's why the homebuilders stocks are up, they are just generally sold through the builders agents and aren't usually listed by other brokers.

www.homestore.com is the best site for "used" houses. it is where most realtors combine their listings. Just punch in your city of choice (Miami, Orlando, Tampa etc) and hunt away. Beazer, Maronda, Mercedes are huge builders here
