I'm in 2k shares in my sep MGM long holding into earnings ...

not sure yet if I will also initiate a new position into the close in my dt acct, probably will though... it's been consolidating 8.6-9 all day so far, waiting to see if it gets buyers over the 9 this last 2hrs into the close. I usually dont like holding into earnings since there's the risk that it could gap down to 3 or whatever... or of course it could go the other way and gap+ to 12 ... I'm in long myself.

fwiw I do a lot better swingtrading (vs dt) MGM, as it's relatively choppy with a lot of minor intraday moves... I've noticed that it tends to move best only when there's high volume on new breakouts.

  3. Comments made from the earning resport regard future booking looks very good.

Chart saying MGM will go much higher assuming CC is good. It sounds good from what I read.

MA-200 is next target. I have a feel that LVS will report good too. If that's the case MGM will run to ma-200. Too many shorts to squeeze.

I'm long a total of 4,000 shares MGM -- 2k in my sep and 2k in my IB account; let's see if this baby has legs.

ca-ching! btw it was a bit nerve-wracking/took a lot of courage to buy that much stock, my big question to myself now is, where to trail a stop so that I don't get shaken out too early on tomorrow morning's gap up, if it holds tonight's premarket gap.

what gave me the confidence to put on that much size in this, was looking at the 1-yr chart and subsequent recovery recently off the earlier lows; then of course I was daytrading it on the way up over 9, taking small wins/small stops.... should be interesting, hope I get some sleep tonight lol

I just made over $3K in MGM selling the gap up today. I was RIGHT about my calls, and trades.

This is one of my best days ever, I made a total of $3701 net profits in my IB account today (screencap proof below), mostly thanks to the 2K MGM I just bought and sold.

The only thing that counts, is actual PROOF, eg trade blotters of success. I'm going to celebrate, it's cool making $3700 in a single day.
