According to this report MF Global Holdings has also filed for Chapter 11. http://www.futuresmag.com/News/2011/10/Pages/MF-Global-files-for-Chapter-11.aspx
This must be the best headline of the day, surely? 12:16 EST - *S&P DOWNGRADES MF GLOBAL HOLDINGS TO 'D' Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Removed from creditwatch negative.
So, Karl, how many customer segregated monies is Global Futures holding? Let´s take a look at the latest CFTC report: http://cftc.gov/ucm/groups/public/@financialdataforfcms/documents/file/fcmdata0811.pdf And what other service are you offering beyond the usual "execution and clearing"? What do you offer to money managers?
To clarify, Global Futures and Forex is a seperate company from Global Futures Exchange and Trading Company. We are not an FCM. We are an IB that works with multiple clearing firms. Please contact me if you would like further information. I am happy to help.
