That is why you need to use the tariffs as a cudgel. Not the means to an end, however, without it, would Mexico have done anything? China-US trade war could be harder to resolve. Depends on China being reasonable. If they are, they can quickly resolve and sign a fair trade deal! The problem with China is they are playing delaying tactics. I guess they are rolling the dice and hoping President Donald Trump does not get re-elected. A Democrat US President would keep the status quo of China taking advantage of the US with one sided trade deals of the past! That is why I am in favor of President Donald Trump imposing 25% on all Chinese products. Let us give President Xi Ping an opportunity to save face (carrot). If he still refuses, then, impose that 25% tariffs on all Chinese products (stick). Then, the US can just wait it out!

  4. This is why we must give Trump credit for trying something different rather than just bending over and taking it up the ass like every other administration prior to this one.

  5. Let's see the deal first before we get a Bush landing on an aircraft carrier in front of a Mission Accomplished banner moment.

It's all just a bunch of posturing and no substance:
"both countries recognize the vital importance of rapidly resolving the humanitarian emergency and security situation."

"Governments of the United States and Mexico will work together to immediately implement a durable solution."

"Mexico will take unprecedented steps to increase enforcement to curb irregular migration, to include the deployment of its National Guard throughout Mexico, giving priority to its southern border. "

"This means that those crossing the U.S. Southern Border to seek asylum will be rapidly returned to Mexico where they may await the adjudication of their asylum claims."

Previous admin deports record number of undocumented immigrants: We're taking it up the ass
This admin sees crossings beyond those seen since 2006: Give Trump credit for trying something different.

  10. Yes, we must not jump to conclusions like we do when the U.S. signs on to every idiotic treaty and do nothing accords that has the rest of the world continuing the free ride while we continue to do all the heavy lifting, financing every god damn thing under the sun, and generally carry the world on our shoulders while listening to the ungrateful fucks piss and moan. Lets not do that.
