I do agree that the new Mexican president can't just take this hands off approach. Has to do something. We are the real problem though, no market for the products and they don't exist.
Yes, that did occur to me. That's why I would say just take over their government, not formally annex them as part of the US. That would be the absolute worst case outcome. I'm surprised dems aren't pushing it actually. They could speed up the great replacement by decades.
"The great replacement", almost a laughable they think humanity has that long in anything close to current form. One way or another, by 2045 or so it will all be settled.
Emerald Robinson ✝️Verified account@EmeraldRobinson 10m10 minutes ago So Senator Tom Cotton just said that "we might have to take matters into our own hands" if the Mexican government "can't protect American citizens." It sounds like we are considering a semi-hostile takeover.
I say, if we are contemplating doing this, then we should demand Canada's beautiful involvement and financial assistance to this cause, because America is the buffer between Mexico and the canucks. If Canada refuses and claims it is "our problem", then we should just take over Canada too, eh? And while we're at it, every country north of the Panama canal. Just fuck 'em all, right? Starting to sound familiar? Lederhosen and bratwurst for everyone!
Here's a solution to the problem. Legalize the drugs. Regulate the drugs once legalized. Invest in drug education, prevention, and treatment. Otherwise, nothing is going to change.
Technically, is their any difference between living in a village in a foreign country that happens to be 20 miles south of our border and living say.... on one of the southern islands in the Philippines? Or the jungles of Colombia? There is no difference. "Oh but they run drugs." Yeah, well so does China. Should we invade them? I mean Cotton is just spouting off imo... he has presidential hopes down the road for sure... but this is a matter that's handled by the State Dept., not the Dept of Defense. If Americans want protection, don't set up residence in a 3rd world sh-hole surrounded by narcos.
So settling in Syria or Yemen as an ex-pat is a bad idea, even after the US government said "we will not help you if you do this"? But the US must protect my religious freedoms in a foreign country, for I am a Mormon!
Look up where the cartels get their flow of weapons. Lots of times they are purchased in the US. You have to find it strange there's not a larger effort to stop the flow of arms. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smuggling_of_firearms_into_Mexico
