#MeToo Cuomo!

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Clubber Lang, Dec 13, 2020.

  1. As discussed at length wayyy back, I see that the black female AG in Albany just announced that she is running governor. Which - to me- explained wayy back why she was so anxious to jump into the various investigations of Cuomo even though she is of the same party. As I said, the dems are playing the long game to get a skin color person in there. Have to move the old white guy out first.

  2. For some reason, this comes out today. I guess they are releasing some of the investigative material related to Cuomo.

Also being released, texts, phone calls whatever that show that his brother worked his media contacts to find out what they had on the Governor and then worked with the governors staff to alert them and help with a strategy. We knew that he was working with the governor but he absolutely denied working with the other media to be an advocate and using his press position to spy on his media colleagues as to what they had on Andy.

There is a link below the video on that chris cuomo piece- still rolling out a bit. The Governor is in the shiiter right now. Be nice to see Chris there too and he should be there but probably that is expecting too much- especially since Brian Stelter just bit the dust. Can only hope for so much.

The Cuomo staff doesn't fall far from the tree...

CNN Senior producer John Griffin who used to work with Cuomo has been suspended after he was arrested and charged with sexual abuse involving underage girls and their mothers.

Maybe they should charge him with covering up all those nursing home deaths...

Westchester County won't prosecute Andrew Cuomo over alleged unwanted kisses
    https://abc7ny.com/andrew-cuomo-sexual-harassment-westchester-county-miriam-rocah/11398324/

Westchester District Attorney Miriam Rocah has declined to pursue criminal charges against former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo over allegations of unwanted kisses.

While her investigators found "credible evidence" the alleged conduct occurred, Rocah said it fell outside the statute of limitations.

Rocah's investigation, which began after the release of the New York Attorney General's report on Cuomo, examined the accusations made by a state trooper on Cuomo's security detail and by a woman who alleged an unwanted kiss during the event at the school.

Rocah is the second prosecutor in recent weeks to decline to prosecute Cuomo based on the statute of limitations, after Nassau County announced the same thing last week.

The allegations were described as follows:

1-A woman, identified as Trooper 1 in the Attorney General's Report, alleged that, when Cuomo was the Governor and Trooper 1 was a member of his detail and on duty at his home in Mount Kisco, she asked the Governor if he needed anything and he responded by asking her if he could kiss her. She further indicated that she was concerned about the ramifications of denying the Governor's request and so she said "sure." The Governor then kissed her on the cheek and, as indicated in the Attorney General's report, "said something to the effect of, 'oh, I'm not supposed to do that' or 'unless that's against the rules.'"

2-A second woman has alleged (publicly and to investigators) that Cuomo grabbed her arm, pulled her toward him and kissed her on the cheek without seeking permission for such a greeting while the two were at an event at White Plains High School.

"We continue to recognize the bravery of the women and witnesses who have cooperated with law enforcement and we remain committed to supporting them and all survivors," Rocha said. "As in all cases of alleged misconduct, my office will investigate such claims irrespective of the position or status of the accusers or the accused. We thank the Attorney General, the State Assembly and our sister DA Offices for their collaboration and cooperation.

The U.S. Department of Justice is conducting a civil inquiry into the allegations, and other New York district attorneys are investigating claims in their individual jurisdictions.

I merely stated Cuomo covered up the nursing home deaths to enhance his political image — which is well documented. IMO this is a crime that Cuomo should be prosecuted for. But feel free to push fact checks about Cuomo which are not related to my assertion.

Here are a few news stories to remind you of what Cuomo did, the ensuing scandal, and the facts. Keep in mind that NY Attorney General Letitia James investigated the cover-up of these nursing home deaths and issued a report as well.

Looks like Cuomo will not be prosecuted for hiding the nursing home deaths, nor for his groping of women.

The district attorney described the woman who said former Gov. Andrew Cuomo had groped her as “credible,” but added that proving her allegation would be difficult.
