Got the results of my bloodwork. Everything came back normal. LH 4 IU/L (ref range 2 - 9 IU/L) FSH 2 IU/L (ref range 2 - 12 IU/L) Testosterone 23.9 (ref range 7.6 - 31.4 nmol/L) Prolactin 6 (ref range <18 ug/L) The bloodwork was taken on a 14 hour fast, collected at 2pm in the afternoon. My GP told me to cut out all vitamins and supplements for 1 month. He said high doses of fat soluble vitamins can interfere with libido. I take high doses of vitamin D, E, A and fish oil, and have been for quite some time. I'll give this a shot and see what happens.
Dairy while cutting? Or cut the dairy (cottage cheese/natural yogurt)? I noticed my stomach isn't as defined, a week after including some dairy (same net calories).
Yeah, I noticed that too. I only drink non-fat milk and I still visually see a fat increase when consistanly incorporating it. Anyone else?
Too bad, Joe. I bought 40 bucks worth of dairy, yesterday How about ephedrine? Dosing and schedule? I just popped two 8 mgs this morning. Can I weight-lift at 100% max? Or should I cut back, to be safe? For a general update, I lost ~6 inches from my waist since July/August. Down to a 35 pant, from a ~41. Pretty happy about that. Lifts are coming up, although seemed to have plateaued a bit, while dieting.
Ephedrine is known to give users about a 10% strength increase, especially if you pop it right before a workout. If you do it on a regular basis, the strength increase will gradually fade away.
Ephedra has some downsides also. It increases heart rate and the risk for heart attack and stroke, if you're healthy I don't know if the increased risk is enough to worry about though. And it can enlarge the prostrate, if there's a family history of prostrate problems it would be wise to judge benefits vs risks. And I never did like the wired up jittery feeling it gave me.
I'm 35, not overweight. Heart disease runs in the family but I *think* I'll be okay. Ran 24 mg today. This will be the upper limit. Are there safer alternatives? Clenbluterol? DMMA?
I think Atticus already covered that protocol earlier in this thread. Personally, I reserve the use of stims until I really need them to get that last pound or two of fat off.
For a short time it's probably safe, the body is pretty damn durable. My dads been a chain smoker and heavy drinker and had poor eating habits since since he was a teenager and he's pushing 80.
