if your heart beats at 60 and you speed it up to 90,for 10 minutes,your metabolism will stay speed up for 12 hours,so a30 minute fast walk /bike ride would speed it up for 36 hours,so 30 minutes every other day,you have speed up your metabollism
Temp and muscle mass. You sit in a 60 or 90 degree room, you are going to burn more then a 72 degree room. More muscle burns more cal, one of the benefits of more muscle mass simply put is more testosterone.
Take your ideal weight and multiply x 8 to get the calories to consume daily til you reach it. Once you reach it take that weight and multiply by 10 to get the calorie intake needed to maintain it. These numbers are not set in stone but offer a good starting point. To raise metabolism, work on adding lean mass via weight lifting and eat 6 small meals a day with plenty of protein.
and hgh Can you give us an example what your current diet is ? How many calories do you consume a day ?
i have one of those bodyfat scales and it can vary by 2 percentage points every few days. those online bf% calculators have me pegged at 10.x% and 12.x%, and my scale has me from 9% to 11%. so i figure i'm around 10%. if that's your picture, i'd guess you're around 8-9%. 19-21% is fricking overweight. i also noticed that creatine affects bodyfat scales too (due to increased water mass)
Right.....I use it for my BodyByVi supernutritional shakes and cereal too. I only use the unsweetened kind and I have no problems with it. Down 30 lbs now in just over 40 days, and I already started training for long distance running ahead of schedule (so I can compete in some races later this year). I am very excited about getting the fat off my body so quick and get back into the running scene again!
