Alright. So I'm in the ballpark. Thanks. I've got a few general questions, all over the map.

Raw eggs? Healthy? I eat a few a day?

Protein - what kind? Different blends have different amino acid ratios. Should the ideal blend be high in BCAA's?

BCAA's - how much and when? At what ratio? What brand is good? How's truenutrition.com?

As for ATG squats, what muscle groups are activated at the very start of the movement, at the bottom, when the ass is literally against the calves? Whats the best exercises to build those muscle groups? That's where I fail the most - at the bottom of the movement?

  2. What baron said is solid advice. If you have worked on really contracting your muscle well, doing lighter weight can still be very intense and build muscle well. Next time you do pec flyes or something, when you bring the dumbbells or cables in front of you squeeze as hard as you can and hold for a few seconds. Slowly let them back and stretch the muscle then squeeze all the way back to infront of you. Focus on the contraction, not on moving the weight.

If you really want a good burn, once you are warmed up and going at it, do a solid set of whatever exercise then as soon as you are done try flexing and holding whatever muscle you just worked for 30 seconds as tight as you can. You should really feel it well.

Also as a side note, if you want to burn some fat my advice is make your heart have to work hard pumped extra blood from one part of your body to another to burn the most calories. So on your cardio day or whatever you will sprint then switch to an upper body move or two then back down to lower. Do it a few times. Just an idea on something to change up a cardio workout

Hmm. I could get some too.... Thing is, my libido is garbage right now - ED all over the place. Getting blood work done next week. Toying with steroids might not be the wisest course of action, atm.

Okay, thanks. I'll bookmark this and give it a shot next workout. As for cardio, I am doing zero. Just weight training 3 on, 1 off, plus clean diet, plus calorie restriction (cut all dairy except cheese and 500 calories of carbs, daily).

  5. Raw eggs: No. I have done it and it's easy but not recommended. You will get more protein out of them if you cook them. It makes it more bioavailable.

Protein: if you are drinking shakes, drink whey protein when you need something in your system quick such as immediately after your workout or first thing in the morning. Drink casein for a long acting protein such as before bed so it will last you through the night. It digests much slower than whey.

BCAA: I have no advice on them. I drink monster mass (I'm a hardgainer) and it has a solid BCAA content so I just go with that. Someone on here will know more than I do about them I am sure and can give you solid advice.

ATG squats aren't my thing. I will go to true parallel which some people consider ATG but never ass to the calves. Too much knee strain for me personally with much weight. I only will do that when I am stretching or something. Other people recommend it though so to each his own. Just so you know though true parallel is when your hip crease is level with the top of your knee. It is much easier on my hips and knees than all the way down.

See what feels best on you and still works the muscles properly.

  6. Lol get a prescription for test if you are having those issues! But Clen isn't really a steroid or anything it's a thermogenic. It's like other fat loss supplements just much more effective and will have you wired all day lol lots of energy.

I wouldn't do anything like that though if you are having other issues. Talk to your doc first.

More protein in cooked eggs? That's good news. I thought the opposite.

For me, ATG is easier on the knee. I used to do parallel back in university with decent weight (~380). But now, I feel like the knee joint is too vulnerable. At the end of a set when I'm tired, I do partials to parallel but try to do most all the way down.

hmm.. well, I'm gunna try and heal this naturally = mountains of viagra. Thing is, if I take test now, it'll shutdown my HPTA. I'm only 34. If I was 64 it'd be another story. Anyway. Who knows whats going on. Clomid would seem to be the logical choice if I went with anabolics? I'll keep the clenny in mind.

  9. That sucks about having those issues at 34 but that isn't that bad. I have a 25 year old friend who is on TRT. He just naturally had low levels. If you think you are kinda dropping off like levels are decreasing, try running clomid and nolvadex. Neither are illegal or anything lol.

Do some research but maybe try running clomid at 100mg a day for 2 weeks, then 50mg a day for another 2 weeks and also run nolvadex during that at 40mg for the first 2 weeks and 20mg the second 2 weeks. That is what people run after a cycle to get their test levels back up to normal. It might be worth a shot. Clomid will give the boys a jump start haha

  10. Make sure your BCAA have Citrulline Malate. That will help your issues. Also some people respond very well to Royal Jelly. And a crushed libido is a sign that something is going wrong.
