Here's a whole other group of oil-injecting idiots: http://www.ystare.com/articles/read-synthol-shocker_59.html
I did some local BBing competitions and there was always some synthol clown with massive delts or biceps. Of course they always had horrible symmetry. Synthol abuse. Be advised it's graphic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuCvQd1KTqY
Freakish. Does that stuff eventually go away, or is it permanent and consistent with the adage that stupid is forever?
No, not like a tattoo. Eventually the stuff is resorbed. Amazed that people can be this stupid (users).
What do you guys recommend for joint pain, Knees & shoulders etc, after years of abuse. I'm not talking about pain relief meds, I'm talking about supplements that will assist in joint movement.
All right, I haven't talked myself into posting pics, but will go with goals and post where I at. 48 yrs old, peak weight 182lbs, 5'10"(used to be 5'11.5" and yea that bothers me ). Currently down to 170lbs and refusing to "diet". I cut out crap snacks while I sit in front of the computer and have been eating more fruit. I also have gone from liflting only 3 to 4 times a week and dog walks to adding 3.5 to 4.5 miles jogging 3 to 4 times a week. I call what I do what it is and jogging is it, as much as it sounds cooler to say "I run". I shoot for 8 - 9 minute miles for the first couple and then head for as close to a 6 minute for the last as I can get. There is no question to me that pushing harder on the aerobic end has helped get me leaner. Ultimately my goal is to get back into rock climbing. Lean and strong is much better for this goal. It has been 22 years since I last climbed and I look forward to it. Another goal is to play in an adult soccer league and not keel over dead. My youngest is a soccer player, and who knows how or where but seems to be gifted. His coach laughs and comments he sees his brothers influence in that he is very physical. His brothers played and play currently football. My goal is to play and learn the game better and maybe help him to get a college scholarship. It is a goal, and for me much less boring than golf for a hobby. Add to that the idea I hope to start flying aerobatic competitions, and conditioning is a great idea.
I'm living the bad knees life and there isn't a definitive solution. I'd say number one is lose weight, 2 build muscle with low impact and low shear force exercises, tough to do this when working out the legs. And stop joint damaging exercise and work if possible. The supplements I take are osteobiflex, the science is sketchy on this, but the cost is affordable so I take it just in case it works. Pycnogenol is the other supplement I take for joint pain. Some good science on this one for reducing inflammation and helping cartlidge repair. If you go for surgery research some first, the surgeons run operation factories so it's best to go in educated. Good luck.
Pycnogenol is fantastic. I doubt the "mix" is any better than the other isomers, but it works magic on kids with ADHD, autism and for older folks with peripheral neuropathy. All pycnogenol is made or licensed by Horphag, LTD., but I buy this exclusively. It seems to provide the most benefit of the brands I've tried. The company (Nature's Way) is owned by Twinlab and they are very good about standards. http://www.vitacost.com/natures-way-pycnogenol I take 2, b.i.d. or roughly 50mg per 50lbs.
