Equivalent of a 6 foot 120 male, that isnt what CR is about. Also what was the diet? Something was wrong with this study. Looks like the tortured monkeys for 25 years for no good reason
I can't comment on the relative validity of the opposing studies. Just passing the info along. Either way, I will neither gorge nor starve myself, so I have no horse in this race.
I can attest to the Benadryl. Four put me to sleep after I got a killer sunburn that itched like a mofo. Did some HIIT last week. Totally kicked my butt. I could only go 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off. Muscles in my ankles and heels i didn't know i had, were sore the next few days.
I haven't been doing abs at all recently. I noticed that when I really hit abs hard for a few months that it tends to thicken up my entire midsection. So what I'm doing now is concentrating on fat loss so that my abs are as visible as genetically possible, but my waste is super small at the same time. That should create a really good V-taper from the shoulders to the waste, which is the most desirable look IMO. I've been doing quite a bit of shoulder work as well. I'm wearing size 30 jeans now right now but I think I may even fit into a 29 once I'm done, which will probably be the end of September.
I would think that would be more the case if you engaged in lower rep, higher resistance ab work, no? I think doing the higher volume ab movements without added resistance and on a flat rather than incline/decline surface would keep the abs compact and toned. In any event, upper leg work as well as most compound upper body work, especially pulling movements, address the abs. So, yeah, as long as the remainder of your routine is good, it's mostly about the fat, as you pointed out.
I forgot to mention that in addition to restricting calories, I am also taking Lipo-6x to further help along the fat burning process.
Baron, Last night I was crazy hungry, 10pm needed a snack. I turned to chicken in a can, and broccoli. Total cals was about 290, fat near 10 grams. Sodium level huge... Im wondering the consequences of that midnight snack. If I drank OJ sugar turns to fat, carbs were low; so trying to figure out, was it a good alternative or maybe just drink lots of water next time instead.
