If you answer the last question, there will be no more questions from me on the matter. You will note that you have not yet done so. Specifically, have you ever experimented with harder stuff at any time prior to your pic on page 2? That is my final question.

I never said ursolic acid doesn't do anything. I just questioned what, incrementally, it did for you. It was a serious question. The research does not appear to be quite as airtight as you would suggest. First, the clinical test was done on mice, which, while indicative, is not conclusive for humans. There have not yet been any human trials to my knowledge. Then there is the matter of means of administration and rates of absorption based on those means of administration. Did the mice get capsules or whatever? And, finally, I have not seen overwhelming praise in reviews of the product by actual users with actual results from the product. At least not on the sites that I visited over the weekend. All this I considered before I asked you the question that I did in my post yesterday evening.

Further, I did not ask for a before photo. I merely asked how your physique compared before you began taking ursolic acid. But now that you directed me to the before photo, I think most people would be hard pressed to make any meaningful distinctions between the "before" and "after" photos on pages 2 and 18 respectively, aside from the minor observations I made. Again, that remark is certainly not meant to diminish the fact that you look to be in great shape. It merely doesn't say very much about the impact of the ursolic acid.

I remember the clinical research and excitement that came out on chromium picolinate about 20+ years ago. Hear much about the glories of that stuff anymore? Me neither.

If you take a moment, you will see that I'm not traveling in circles. Rather, I am trying to home in on whether you had ever experimented with anything stronger.

I think Brass is suggesting, inappropriately, that you've used steroids or human growth hormone since he used the term "juiced".

Brass also said, imho, that he hoped that Max has a heart attack a few posts back.

This is the behavior we put up with in P&R from Brass which is probably why many of us have him on Ignore. Its a constant stream of vile and embittered comments towards anyone who is able to achieve things beyond his own capabilities whether they are fitness or finance. The guy can't even post in a benign fitness thread without being a complete tool.

Nice body work. I wish I could lift weight more seriously but I broke my wrist back in the 80's and it never healed properly even after a couple of attempts to bone-graft. They ended up removing my carpal nevicular and I'm limited to barbells and am lucking to be able to cycle at all. I can get fit but can't do the bench lifting that I would like to do.

On cycling, I can't heap enough praise on the new generation of spinner-style stationary bikes. My Le Mond Revmaster has so many adjustments that I've been able to set it up with the exact same geometry as my road bike and even put the same Speedplay pedals on it so that I can use my roadbike shoes. That allows me to stand out of the saddle and "climb" on huge load settings. I usually ride for an hour with a 500-stroke climb on high load every 10 minutes and sit and spin at 90 rpm with no load between climbs. I run every other day and spin/cycle on the in-between days and do barbell work on the spin/cycle days.

    Anyway, fun thread.

Heart attack? No. But he'd largely continue to have the body he already has and richly deserves. He'd just be a bit stronger. I did not suggest he do anything. It was Max who wrote that he would comply with what Baron recommended post workout and on Sundays. I have no role other than that of an entertained observer, so how does that make me the bad guy? Your accusation implicates Baron more than it does me. Think it through.
This from the guy who wrote:
I think more people have you on ignore for your outrageously bigoted and hateful posts along with parental slurring for good measure. You just don't like me because I give at least as good as I get.

When did steroids come into use by body builders. Guys like Steve Reeves in the late 40's and 50's weren't using them were they?

The only stronger product I tried was called AndroMass from Primordial Performance, which was touted as being part of a new class of legal compounds that are alterations of the DHEA molecule instead of the testosterone molecule. I was attracted to it for the same reasons I was attracted to Ursolic acid, because it was new technology that was non-toxic and could be used long term. So I tried AndroMass and guess what happened after 7 days on it? It completely destroyed my sex drive. I was so pissed.

It could have been the greatest product of all time but I didn't stick around long enough to find out.

It's funny you mentioned that because I did get blocked up once about three years ago from not ingesting enough fiber to go along with the protein shakes. Talk about shitting a brick. :D

These days, I do snack on almonds throughout the day to keep my fiber content high and keep things moving so to speak.

  9. PA is well respected but not all of his products have worked really well like 4AD. It seems the reviews for ursolic acid are 50/50 successful/unsuccessful. you seem like a hyper-responder if you get good results from only 6 tablets per day. I hear of others getting no results even with 12.

which goes to my original point, I think you just have good genes and a lot of things just work for you. I know your training would cause me to plateau; i know this because i did the same thing for a year and gained nothing.

If i were developing a new mass building product, i'd sponsor people like you to do a log because I know you'd make gains from it no matter what. Viola, that would be proof my product works

that's the problem with the supplement industry. There are no controlled studies, just inferences from mice or from studies in the 1960s, or from guys who log the stuff with zero controls.
