I have been using Metastock for EOD and have been wondering if their realtime version has broker integration with IB or Cybertrader? I do not see anything on their web site on this. Is anybody using Metastock with IB or Cybertrader integrated and if so how does it perform?
Yes. I have tested a program called Metaserver RT that interfaces metastock pro woth the IB data feeed. see http://www.traderssoft.com/ for details. I liked the demo but am working as a daytrading foirm and not using it now. Also http://www.dynastoresoftware.com has a simmilar product out. I havn'ttried it but it may be worth a look. I had a problem with zone alarm and the rt soft product. The software would stop working after about 5 minuites. IO solved it by running the rtsoft program and then stating zone alarm after that. Metastock so far does not have integration with IB or cybertrader. The 2 programs i mention use metastock and foll it into thinking it is getting data from esignal.
