Does someone know how to download youtube videos to an iPhone/iPad?

 

Yes. First you need to download the video's .FLV (Flash Video) file from Youtube, which can be accomplished with the help of a site like Javimoya. Unfortunately, it is not working for me right now, but perhaps it will for you.

Next, convert the .FLV file to a .MP4 file suitable for an iPhone/iPad using HandBrake, which should have presets for doing this.

Voila! Time to transfer the .MP4 file to your device.

I tested Javimoya again today, and still had no luck with it. I happened to run across this:

I tested it briefly and it seems to work fine. You will need to be using Firefox, however.
