Mestizos Vow Revolution After Failure of DREAM Act

Discussion in 'Politics' started by phenomena, Dec 20, 2010.

  1. “This is war!” claims Phoenix student Aldemar Cruz. “Republicans may have stopped the DREAM Act, but they won’t prevent La Reconquista from happening. “White people, watch out!”

Olivia Perez, an undocumented student who claims she was forced to fill out false paperwork in order to stay in the United States, says, “Latinos need to fight back. We need to march. We need to scream. If necessary, we need to riot. We need to do everything Blacks did to get their civil rights!”

The DREAM Act would have provided amnesty for many children of undocumented immigrants who had no choice in their arrival to the United States. It would have also provided amnesty to all of their family members who come from lands that were stolen by the United States. But Elena Cruz of the Center for Latino Rights says Latinos need to take a non-violent approach.

  2. And when they riot, they need to be shot dead in the street.

  3. I'm just waiting for the MSM to denounce this obviously racist proclamation... Seems like they only do that to white people for some reason though...

  4. I'm curious why you would think the Main Stream Media would waste their time with a 18 year old La Raza advocate?

  5. If there were a group of young whites clamoring about how they were going to "revolt", proclaiming "brown people, watch out!" and that "this means war", you could bet your ass the MSM would be all over it and have "diversity specialists" offering commentary on why all this hate, fear, and bigotry exists amongst white people... They'd have a panel of specialists set up to tell people about the plight of these poor victim mexicans, and all the horrible discrimination and challenges they face. They'd call for a crackdown on this hateful racism and xenophobia. But hey, as long as non whites are doing it, it's okay and doesn't even get a mention in the MSM.

I did not know La Reconquista had a name. I became aware of the concept it in 1990 when I was in Mexico City at their national museum.

Their map of the world had California labeled baja and alto... but it was mexico's land according to the map. This is starting to get serious. Those borders need to be closed tight.

  7. They are certainly doing their best to make republicans look like visionaries. Americans generally do not object to immigrants who assimilate. Mexicans spouting nonsense about taking over the southwest are about the last people we need here however, right after al qaeda. I couldn't care less if their parents brought them here either. Kids have to deal with the results of their parents' bad choices all the time. Why should they be different?

They coined a term, Balkanization, to describe exactly this situation. It was the cause of two world wars and numerous regional conflicts, but democrats are blind to the danger. After all, granting amnesty to illegal immigrants is central to their hopes to get reelected.

  8. Why is the title "mestizos" vow revolution? If they are mestizos then they have 1 white parent who is likely a citizen, which makes them a citizen so they have no problems.

Why can't Liberals be as nice and peaceful as Tea-partiers

Oh no, those right-wing fanatics are at it again. Presumably incensed at Sen. Richard Burr (R., N.C.) for voting yea on repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” a member of the “American Taliban” vandalized Burr’s office building in Greenville, N.C., adorning it with swastikas, the words “criminal government,” and “blind follow blind.”

Wait, that’s not quite it. As it turns out, the vandalized office belonged to Sen. Kay Hagan (D., N.C.), who outraged liberals by voting against the DREAM Act, which would install a path to citizenship for children of illegal immigrants. After initially signaling her support for the bill, Hagan switched her vote to no at the last minute, joining four other Democrats in opposition.
