Merrill Lynch downgrades Intel to neutral on valuation

  1. Which lesson have we learned when MERRILL is downgrading a Blue Chip ? Recalling the downgrade in BROKERS couple of days ago ? Recalling CFC donwgrade ? Every time MERILL is downgrading a company we should buy ! ;=)

    Intel Corp. ell 2% to $24.86 in pre-market trade Friday after Merrill Lynch downgraded shares of the chip giant to neutral on valuation. Trading at about 18 times calendar year 2008 earnings, the stock is nearing the high end of its range, Merrill said. While Merrill concluded that upside from current levels is limited, it expects Intel to benefit from a healthy PC demand, continued mix shift to notebook PCS and efficency gains
