Haha, I questioned it myself but music and life are a different stream. I'm more a Brian Johnson admirer than Bon Scott.
The issue isn't racial comments. It's racial hatred. And there's a big difference between the two. Making a comment about another race is one thing. Wishing that race were wiped off the face of the earth is a completely different story. We've had a couple of nutjobs come along over the years who really crossed the line like that one anti-Semitic moron who posted multiple threads per day praising the holocaust and bashing Jews from every angle possible. Once you've seen someone like that come and go, you have a better understanding of true racial hatred. And let me tell you, an "Uncle Tom" comment here or there isn't even close to getting to that level.
And while I'm at it, the major other issue in regards to racial comments is frequency. If your post history reveals that your primary posting activity is centered around talking negatively about another race, then you're obviously on a soapbox and you need to either get off of it, or get banned. But that really applies to almost anything, not just race. In other words, these people that get on a soapbox about a single topic and won't ever shut the fuck up about it are super annoying, regardless of the topic.
you seem to have figured out a reasonable fine line on the free speech debate that plagues social media platforms these days.
