MER arbitrage

It looks like people don't think BoA will be able to get the financing to purchase MER. If the fed cuts rates, will that be the impetus the market needs for a jump up to the 29/share deal price?

 

Financing???? Its issuing its shares, as BOA shares go down so does MER.

 

it's a stock deal. they don't need financing.
