would you be interested in running a little public experiment that might provide a little illumination on the machinations of the market?

  2. Like him or not, Niederhoffer can help define this thread:

"In statistical terms, I figure I have traded about 2 million contracts in my life thus far, with an average profit of $70 per contract (after slippage of perhaps $20). This average profit is approximately 700 standard deviations away from randomness..." --- The Education of a Speculator, Preface, ix.

  3. It sounds tempting indeed, but I think I'll have to decline for now, for obvious reasons.

However, I will reconsider this once this series of systems enters "obsolescence" mode. The HIAP project has been worked on for over 3 years now, and I can't really afford to let information on it let pass to the 'outside world' in any way. All the documents detailing the observations are present as high-bit-key encrypted files on digital media only. Again, once the edge becomes "arbed out", I may make the research public domain. I estimate this to take roughly another 5-8 years, but I might be wrong. Often edges don't last that long.

Considering all the work put into it, it makes sense not to just give the info away for free.

However, you can have a brief insight for a small fee of only $500,000 to be paid into the following swiss number acc.... Uh? What the heck? :D

I can share some simplicities with you personally, if you like. I think you might be surprised at a few things. Communicating one-on-one makes it less likely that the information is ploddered all over the boards. Feel free to send me a PM with your questions.

    Best Compliments,

he has blown up three times, twice in the last 5 years. that is an extremely misleading way for him to present his record.

in edit: i just checked the publication date of his book. lol. note that his two "best" blowups came *after* this bit of self-aggrandizement.
