Memory speed vs. memory timing??

    If ECC gives you peace of mind, I would encourage you to go for it.

    ET - I appreciate you sharing the information. Could you elaborate a little more? What type of tests invalidated the ECC mem? What is the motivation to keep it secret?

  3. ddr2-800 is plenty fast for intel processors with fsb of 1333. you don't need ddr2-1066 or ddr3 unless you're planning to do some insane overclocking.

    when they start introducing processors with fsb over 1600, then you should worry about finding 1066 memory.
