When Crude is up a bunch...you're supposed to go up too.
Not particularly bullish.
Corn is leading Beans.
It's Corn vis a vis ethanol that theoretically correlates with energy. Beans are just along for the ride as the competing for acreage sympathy trade.
I thought it was bean oil that was the correlation but I guess it doesn't matter since they are all ultimately related to crude.
Yes it is bean oil and other veg oils that have an energy tie now through biodiesel. It seems to have significant correlation with crude; seems even more so than corn's tie via ethanol.
Yeah...especially visible today. Beans were down 10, I came back and they were up 5. Piggybacking on Crude.
