Whites are voting in white republicans in blue states. Those white republicans are beating democrats. If republicans are color blind as has been suggested, why can't/dont those same whites vote in black republicans? Okay, say 90% of blacks are democrats. Okay, then why don't we see some of the remaining 10% who are black republican, becoming senators and congressmen by virtue of being voted in by the white republicans?

In terms of party affiliation of registered voters, the GOP (the more conservative party) is losing members, and the Democratic party (the more liberal party) is gaining members.
