Sure, why not? We could expand the definition to demonizing groups of people for racial or political reasons. It still fits with what Wright did, and is now inclusive of Barack's statement. (Liberals are all for inclusiveness, right? [IMG] )

So now we have a new political term:

Rev. Wrighting - demonizing a group of people for personal or political gain.

  2. Should Democrats, and not Republicans, be blamed for racism?

Although prejudice is not the private property of any one political party, one has to wonder why the gentleman poster known here as Pa(b)st Prime, who has shared with us his arguably white supremacist views, apparently ran as a Republican (under the name Kurt Eckhardt) for U.S. Congress a few years ago in the state of Illinois.

Mr. Eckhardt is welcome to share his views, but if Democrats are the ones that are so racist, why did he run as a Republican?

  3. why did former klan member Robert Byrd run as a Democrat? One has nothing to do with the other...racism is present in ALL walks of life..

  5. When you use the term "America Hater" exactly what do you mean?

You love all things about America, which liberal democrats?

See Obama's Archie Bunker, spiritual mentor's statements, and his wife's statements. He went to a church of thousands of cultists for twenty years that cheered hate statements against America. One could not attend a church for twenty years and not agree with the rest of the congregation on such controvercial beliefs. Any normal person could not have continued to associate with such people. And his wife sees America as "mean". Who likes "mean" people? (Gee I wonder where she got that idea?)

  8. You are not answering the question.

What is it exactly that you define as an "America hater."

I heard noting in Rev. Wrights rant that indicated he hated America.

He may hate white people, he may hate white Americans...but that doesn't provide any proof that he hates America.

If that's what you think I can't help you - I can only disagree with you. I hear hate.

What would you describe it as?

  10. I think you're being unfair. I get a little tired of the "racist" label being thrown around anytime someone strays from the PC line. All I recall Pabst ever doing is pointing out some facts about the dysfunctional state of black family life. I think the destructive racism is the racism of low expectations that liberals adopt when they refuse to hold minorities to the same standards as whites.

The fact is that white racism is not acceptable now. No one would make excuses for it. People were lining up however to make excuses for Rev. Wright, starting with Barack Obama.

It's fascinating to me that a pol like Obama who has made race his defining characteristic pretty much his entire life suddenly is supposed to be the post-racial candidate. I guess it's similar to him being the most liberal member of the Senate with no record of bipartisanship yet he claims he will unite everyone and forge a new politics. How gullible are voters anyway?
