Really? Can they be more blatant?

“In a move that is being decried by several members of the Texas congressional delegation, the U.S. Border Patrol announced Monday that it would be conducting an Election Day crowd control exercise in El Paso, the hometown of Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Beto O’Rourke,” the Texas Monthly reports.

“The exercise will take place next to the Chihuahuita neighborhood, a cluster of about one hundred or so homes along the U.S.-Mexico border that is almost exclusively Hispanic. The exercise is planned to occur within half a mile from at least one designated polling station.“

  4. Latest polls have Cruz up 9 points. Beto was never going to win. But hey...at least you have an excuse to why he lost. A single neighborhood with 100 homes couldn't make it to the polling station. But of course...thats hispanic homes, so that's like 200,000 votes. :D:D:D

Why couldn't the drill wait if Cruz has already been declared winner?

    it's not news.... it's Slate.

The judge was correctly and properly following federal election law in his ruling. He clearly cited the precedents and I doubt that any higher appeals court with accept an escalation in view of the absolute clarity established in his ruling.

Give me a break, Republicans keep suing the federal government for any law they don't like but in this case they create a new law to comply with the federal election law to make it impossible for many Native Americans to vote. Who are you kidding with that nonsense.

Are you saying that the District Judge didn't know the law to rule against it in the first place? The issue is “discriminatory and burdensome impact on Native Americans.” , technicalities are irrelevant.

So explain the legal precedents which are incorrect in the judge’s ruling. Tell us how his ruling does not fully comply with federal law.

Your “feelings” and biased narrative are irrelevant. This situation is about complying with federal elections law.

The legal precedent was that election laws should not be changed close to an election, the judge himself said that the state law was created for voter suppression. He didn't say anything about complying with federal election law.

Maybe you should read the judgement instead of defending every evil thing Republicans do with lame and pathetic deflections.

I asked you a simple question, when the fuck did local Republicans suddenly fell in love with Federal laws, they keep suing the Federal government all the time but this time it's different? Why?
