just a thought... meg whitman = huge supporter / fundraiser for romney. mccain chooses romney as his vp? and, yes, i know, no love lost between them a couple months ago.
Will give McCain a big fund raising boost and focus his campaign on the economy. I dislike Romney but he or someone like him is who McCain needs to give his campaign business/economic growth credentials. Winning people over on his plan for the economy is far more important than pandering to the christian conservative vote. The GOP is not going to win using the same old tactics, they have to engage on the economy and offer a vision that independents and fiscally conservative dems will be able to vote for. GOP=Growth DEM=Tax at least that is the way they should frame it, they are both going to spend, that much we know.
