Very interesting seeing that the first Delta case in Mexico was reported a mere 15 days ago. It is a sign of how very infectious the Delta variant is.

The reality despite the CDC study of the people in Massachusetts is that over 95% of the people in hospitals in the U.S. are unvaccinated. Lol, they posted facts. Sorry if it doesn’t align with your view of reality. Couple this with what we’re learning from Israel and some others, the vaccines don’t offer the level of protection we were led to believe they would. Countless articles on how they offer protection against variants, delta..... not. Vaccinations are just part of the equation when battling the virus. Getting yourself in shape, building one’s immune system, better therapeutics, all are important. But the only thing our Government and it’s shills preach is “get the jab”. Oh, and still wear your mask. When the current administration says one thing and then turns right around and does the opposite.........

Their study also urges non-vaccinated people to get the jab as quickly as possible. “A fast rate of vaccination decreases the probability of emergence of a resistant strain,” they wrote in their report, which used mathematical modeling and epidemiological understanding to make their ominous prediction. “Counterintuitively, when a relaxation of non-pharmaceutical interventions” — such as face masks and social distancing — “happened at a time when most individuals of the population have already been vaccinated, the probability of emergence of a resistant strain was greatly increased,” they continued. The findings support a new assessment by the CDC — via a leaked internal document — that the coronavirus Delta variant is just as virulent as chickenpox, even among some vaccinated individuals. According to those reporting on the CDC’s leaked memo, scientists agree that vaccines “prevent more than 90 per cent of severe disease, but may be less effective at preventing infection or transmission.” Simon Rella, a researcher at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria who worked on the study, told reporters that a vaccine-resistant strain has an “advantage over the original strain” when vaccinated people let their guard down. “This means the vaccine resistant strain spreads through the population faster at a time when most people are vaccinated,” he added. The institute’s Fyodor Kondrashov also explained how vaccine-resistant strains become more virulent than their predecessors. “Generally, the more people are infected, the more the chances for vaccine resistance to emerge. So the more Delta is infectious, the more reason for concern,” he said The study suggests that lawmakers should not lift all pandemic restrictions just yet. “We have two tools in our toolbox to do this,” Kondrashov continued, referring to vaccines and face masks. “From an evolutionary perspective, what is necessary to reduce [the spread] is to vaccinate as many people as possible as fast as possible and across the globe.”
These lefty sources are running out of Trump news so they are beginning to jostle the administration a bit just to see if they can find some news. They are not going to go after the administration but they will do some fake dances to try to defend themselves against charges that they are just the media arm of the DNC which they most definitely are. I am the first to acknowledge that Biden is having his way along with the lefties to destroy the country as fast as he said he would and the means of stopping him are VERY limited, so I am not in denial of that. I see the sickening truth. Having said that, Joe nevertheless needs to watch his arse. He is entering a period where he has several "big trades on" and all of then look rocky. The border situation is a disaster. Kamala is a disaster, the crime situation is a disaster, the voting rights bill is rocky, the mega-stimulus bill is rocky, the china-russia cyber attack picture is rocky, and his ability to use covid as his saving grace to compensate for all the other shortcomings is wearing mighty, mighty thin. Even the lefties have him on probation for that now. Again, I am realistic that he is there, and the disaster will continue. But I had zero surprise over his recent ten point drop in favorability, and there is every reason to expect another ten in the very near future if he does not correct all those scenarios I mentioned above. In the same way that the markets do not like uncertainty, even the lefties dont like the shuffling of the deck around covid rules. Yeh, I get it. "We are following the science, so when the facts change, we change our guidance." Okay fine for a while but that little dance has worn out its acceptance. People- lefties included- see that no one knows what the end point looks like. It started with "we just need to flatten the curve." Now it sounds like we might have masks and lockdowns as long as the virus is on earth. The ugly thing that Joe will and is starting to run into is the question as to why he did not put pressure on the pharmaceutical companies to switch their vaccine over to a delta variant derived vaccine before now or at least be further along on that. The CDC director said yesterday "we are still looking at the data." Okay, I get that there are couple folks here who can pipe up with possible answers to that, but that is not the point. The point is that people have seen how well Joe did living off the toolbox that Trump left him but at some point Joe will have to demonstrate how proactive he is when something new and different crops up that cannot be blamed on Trump. That day may be here.
