Im actually finding it is easier to have these variants in some kind of an orderly nomenclature rather than random geographic names. It’s just easier to categorize the evolution of the virus.

You may think so, but it's PC all the way. What's next, no first names for Hurricanes?

Maybe. I haven’t gotten too deep into hurricanes or meteorology but it may help them. I don’t know though.

  4. Yeh, I can see that working for ya.

Your ilk had trouble with the concept that the China virus was from China.

    Geography is tough.

In contrast, @CaptainObvious acts as if he does not know that the Delta Variant (B.1.617.2 strain) came from India (Maharashtra, Kerala, and Madhya Pradesh) and it enjoys the younger population worldwide in comparison to its original parent. If CaptainObvious did know...he has not acknowledged that fact while continuing to point his finger at Mexico for the blame.
    • Simply, he thinks it came from Mexicans crossing the southern border illegally. :D
Hello Covidiots...any strain of Covid does not know if you're illegally crossing the border, arriving illegally by boat on the west coast or if you're arriving legally via airplane.
    • It only takes one infected person to start an exponentially viral spread.
Besides, we all know that Trump was not able to stop the illegal flow of South American people coming across the border in the Pandemic of 2020 even when people last year were yelling that anyone caught should be tested for Covid.

Illegal border crossings have been problematic for a few centuries before Trump. Heck, I remember learning in history class (primary school) the border has been a problem since 1849 of the Mexican - American War.

  8. The Illegal horde continues to march in unchecked, unabated. Thousands upon thousands are Covid positive. Radical leftist types support this invasion, an invasion nothing short of an act of war. Problem is the illegal Covid command is located in the white house and congress. Radical left Democrats have officially weaponized this virus in an attempt to not only gain control of government, but keep control of government.
They are laying the groundwork for another lockdown. Why? Because they know 2022 is going to be a political massacre for them in Congress. A lockdown, one much tighter than the last one, allows them to at a minimum control the vote by limiting the number of people voting and where the voting takes place.Do not be surprised if they come out and declare a national crisis and prohibit the election all together.

  10. Yeh, okay.

And as I said before, AOC has a degree in Economics.

With the lefties, one is reminded of the old joke:

Q: Why do Russians patrol in three's?

A: One to read, one to write, and the other to keep his eye on the two intellectuals.
