OMG... He is still alive and about to go sick his lawyer on Jerry. This is one entertaining exchange.... For a Professor, pumkinhead has no class whatsoever... sorry dude... It is obvious that you are the one on the offense here. Calm down! It's not Jerry's fault all your stocks are tanking into the toilet...

For gosh sakes punkin', go away and use some other free quote-handling charting software that can connect to hundreds of different data sources... QT is a fine product. Jerry and Co give great support. They tried to help and you cussed them and used foul language. They have proof (it's in the server logs). Case closed. Go away. Thnks
Emails are not in server logs. You are liar. I'm a computer science major with a masters degree in biology, and I know for a fact, that emails are not in server logs. Stop being a liar. I wish this case goes to court, because this isn't the first time Jerry Medved and Mazel have both handled themselves unprofessional and disrespected customers. It's about time somebody sues Jerry Medved. There is plenty of proof against Jerry Medved and Mazel. Jerry Medved and Mazel will both lose in court.
We fixed the software issue. Jerry and I exchanged emails and fixed the software problem. This issue is resolved and finished.
I've been playing around with this since downloading it this morning and it's very impressive, considering the cost, but I wonder if any of you guys can tell me: 1) Is there an easy way to click on the symbol and have it redraw the same chart without opening a new window? 2) Is there any way to save workspaces, so that I can quickly switch to different layouts?
bluedemon77 1) do you mean have one of the already open charts switch to the symbol you clicked on? If so, yes, you can do that. On the top right of the chart (on the caption), click on the button that looks like a pin. That will link the chart. Now any time you click on a symbol in the portfolio, it will swtich the linked chart to that symbol. NOTE: QT now allows for multiple linked window groups, so make sure that the pin color you select on the chart is the same as the pin color that is selected on the top right of the portfolio window. 2) Do not have saved layouts yet. It is something that is on our todo list
Thanks for the quick reply. I can live without the saved layouts as long as I can open some charts with different time frames and have them all linked to my portfolio/watch lists. I just opened my IB account and I couldn't live with the TWS charting software, so I'm hoping that I can use QuoteTracker or I'm going to have to stay with Fidelity. IB offers a lot of advantages, but by the time I pay for eSignal, news feeds, research, etc., it makes my current $8 flat commissions look pretty good. Anyway, if I can get the charts set up the way I want to, I'll transfer half of my trading account to IB and I'll subscribe to QuoteTracker.
bluedemon77, FYI - to open multiple charts on the same symbol, open one, then right click on the chart and select New Chart menu. that will bring up a 2nd chart on the same symbol. The two charts can be configured independently for time periods, chart types, indiators, frequencies, etc.
How do I set up woodies CCI in quote tracker? I added paintbar indicator and nothing is showing up. Anybody know the settings? There are hundreds to choose from. Woodies CCI is suppose to be only a few settings. Any place online that says how to set up this QT with woodies CCI?
