Well Fred, since you decided to sling mud here, I think the other ET members should see the FULL conversation, just to be fair. It can be viewed at: http://www.quotetracker.com/misc/fred_conversation.htm Mazel asked you 2 very simple questions that were in no way rude. your reply was "Who is this? You should know what resetting means. If you don't know what resetting means, then I think this software sucks and so does customer service." I have no idea what RESETTING the chart means either btw, since there is no such option in QuoteTracker. So, who exactly was rude here? Mazel or you? And what about "I am 57 years old. And my age is none of your god damn business. If you don't know what reset means then you are a fucking RETARD!!!". What kind of support do you expect to get if you ask in such a nice way?
LOL. You edited and changed the whole original message around. That is not the original email that was sent. You changed the words. In fact, by you posting a private email conversation that was between a customer and yourself, is saying that you are not very professional.
I did not edit a single word in the body of the message. I have every email right here in front of me. The only edit was removing your name and email address. (Edit - I also set the colors to make it easier to read) YOU are the one who made this public with your very public accusations. I just clarified it.
Here is the original emails and the genuine emails that were exchanged. You edited the other one. Please view original here Suggestion to Jerry Medved, instead of coming on here and showing your unprofessionalism and lack of business ethics by argueing with a customer; why don't you try to solve the software problem instead? I also emailed you a screen shot. I think that would be a much better solution. You have my email as you stated above. We can take this software problem private and try to resolve the problem with your software and why it is not working. Reminder: In a professional manner.
Um, "pumpkinhead", support emails that are sent to QuoteTracker are sent in triplicate - to me (Mike), to Jerry and to Mazel. Same with Mazel's responses - they are BCCd to me and to Jerry. I just looked at the chain of emails, and they are exactly the way Jerry put them. Your doc is a lie. Nice try, though.
We would be glad to address the problem. The chart you sent showed a big gap and a spike. This is a datafeed issue. That is why Mazel asked you the 2 questions. 1) Which site is selected for quotes - What does the raw data show for the symbol? (right click on the chart, select RAW DATA) and 2) Please explain what you you mean be "resetting"? I still do not know what you mean by resetting? Did you reinstall QT? Did you clear data? What? you never did answer that. Please reply to the email with the answers and we will be glad to give you instructions based on that.
Jerry Medved, I am going to make a VERY strong suggestion to you before you get yourself sued. You need to READ your own "Privacy Policy" statement on your own website before you start posting edited private emails between customers and yourself or anybody that answers emails on behalf of your company. You are violating your own policy. This is grounds for a lawsuit. http://www.quotetracker.com/privacy.shtml I emailed you the information in a private email so we can try to fix the software solution. Thanks.
It's probably too late Jerry. Pumpkinhead has probably jumped out the window from the 57th floor of his downtown apartment... Sometimes aging/new software can do that to a person... The charts are broken. That was a funny one... lol...
