  1. j_medved,
does it support ES? I found the chart of it was very strange.

  2. QT supports ES futures if the datafeed you are using provides data on futures.

The only ones that I know that produce "strange" charts, would be Historical charts on ES futures if you use IB as the datafeed. For some reason, IB's EOD data is flaky. Is that what you were looking at?

  3. Yeah, you r an expert. :D
I did the same thing to ES as to stocks, the stocks are fine, but ES not.

  4. Hi j medved :

Is sound alerts for change in trend for indicators on the todo lists??

Glad to hear that spreads charts are coming... :)

Can't wait. What else is in the pipeline if you do not mind sharing?

  5. That would be alerts based on indicators and other custom calculations. Its something we want to add, but more long term goal.

The current beta has linked cross-hairs. Need to do saved layouts.

  6. Make sure when you do the saved layouts thing that you keep it
to where you can have different color schemes in different charts
    for each individual chart layout.

One charting package I know of has it to where you can save layouts
but every chart has to be the same color.

I like different color schemes for different charts like QT has it now.

Being able to do that in each layout would be ok dokee...

  7. 3 or 4 weeks ago there were some problems such as stock was $78 but at medved quote tracker it was $158 or so. I hope providers will do something about these.

It is good provider of graphics and execution but sometimes usually at opening there appers problems.

    Jerry,

It seems like every trader I know is switching to Linux or at least running on one of their machines. There are hardly any T/A programs out there for Linux. Are you going to be coming out with a Linux version???

If you do ---u may be the first one to do so.

  9. Kind of sounds like a stock split? Which data provider? Can't blame that specifically on QT... Maybe it was esignal data?

Im using Button trader, Quote Tracker(Subscription) with IB data feed. Lately, from about 2am to 6am, ive been trading YM.
The QT YM chart will lag BT by as much as 2 sec when a trade prints in BT. Quote Tracker is very fast at updating charts so
im wondering if there isnt some other problem.

    Here's my set up.

    WinXP sp2
    AMD Athlonxp 3200+
    2.20 GHZ 512MB
    Latest update of QT

BT must have IB client #0 Sc port 7496
QT is IB client #1 on port 7496.

    Any suggestions??Could be just ECBOT???

    .... rj

ps. Jerry. Im on my second subscription to QT and im a very happy customer. And ... Robert, I love ButtonTrader and i will be sending you some screen shots of my live trading in BT- its a winner.
