This whole thread is so phoney in makes me puke. How many other software vendors host these phony cheerleading plots ZERO! You must really need that $7.00.
It works for you because you dont put real money on the line would be my guess. Professional traders DO-NOT use Mickey Mouse $7.00 software. Professionals use professional tools. PRETEND TRADERS USE $7.00 software. And as I have said before nothing wrong with that as you learn.
myminitrading great. You voiced your opinion. Its noted. Please do not use QuoteTracker. We do not want your business. Can I be any more clear than that? If you are such a professional trader, then go find something else to do than posting here.
Huh??? Professional trader? What's that? Seriously though, there are only two kinds of traders that I know of, traders who make money and traders who lose money. Some traders make money using only a PDA and an occasional glance at the chart. Some so called "professional traders" manage to lose money using 12 monitor setup with so called "professional tools". And there are so called "dumb asses" who believe anything that starts with "professional" must be for the professionals. Happy trading ps: Jerry, I just renewed mine for another year
Do the people in your social circle find you as boring as we do? This thread is about QT if you don't like it or use it why are you wasting your time here? The truth is,when it comes to value for money you could not do better! So,piss off!
Here are some quotes from the start of myminitrading's journal. See if it sounds like he is a "professional" trader to you: "I am starting this thread to hold myself accountable. I have followed the markets since November 1999. I have not been a total success nor have I been a total failure. I struggle with discipline, and I struggle with my emotions. I have been using the same method for several years. I can do this, I know I can." This was posted in his journal on 4-18-06 in his first post of his journal. Here is a link to it: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67537&perpage=6&pagenumber=1 I guess he is just another wannabe who was looking for some "cheaper" software so he could save money. And failed at figuring out how to use QuoteTracker. Definitely not a professional. A joke maybe... LOL... P.S. Funny how these (in his case, over 7 years) wannabes have to run around taking out their crap on anything they can find available. Here is some more of his posting from his journal around the time he entered this thread. Maybe he is having mental problems: "05-25-06 10:41 AM I have noticed as of late, my temperament has changed I have become more aggressive towards other posters here. This is not like me at all, I have always been laid back easy going. This is quite disturbing and it has me worried. I think the best thing to do is take that vacation." Here is why he might be freaking out. A response to someone else in his thread: "Why dont you post some trades? dont be shy, step up and hold yourself accountable in front of 50,000. It does wonders." I guess you get the picture. He also states he wants to take the summer off to be with his kids. He obviously needs a break from trading... He is at the breaking point and doesn't know what to do about it. I hope he doesn't crack... P.S. myminitrading.... If you are still struggling with your emotions and discipline after 7+ years you might want to hang it up. You don't have to be ashamed to give up the game. It's better than ending up in a mental hospital.
a trader who consistently loses using QT will consistently lose using CQG. i've never known or heard of a trader who would make the following statement: i owe all my success to my charting platform. without, i never would have become a successful trader. also, if CQG or Esignal or any other platform was $7 a month it would still be the same charting app. anyway, good charting ... er, i mean trading to all take care - omni
