Hey 77 remember (EliteTrader) is not the same as 6 years ago When you could chat to traders , let the guy (myminitrading) kill himself, I remember asking for a chart a few weeks back and got told I had no brain .. I have lots to add to this site , but i wont because of all the s**t that go's down now, Just stay in the back ground make your cash and f**k them all.....................
My mini is right I've never heard anyone past 16 ever say a curse word, ever. It's proven all the sucessful people are saints and always say thank you and yes maam.
I see. You mean do I remember ET as it was years ago when it had less than 10k members? Yes, it was way better in the good ol' days. I know what you mean by "staying in the background". I do my best not to post while trading, but afterwards I do. I just took a look at "myminitrading's" journal he mentioned earlier "and it looks like he might actually be Rickshaw?
I'm just beginning to use the software and was wondering if someone could answer a question, How do I display real-time volume for 5 min bars. I have volume at the bottom of my chart but it displays the cumulative vol. for the day. I want the current bar only.
AllenW that should be automatic. Do you have just one bar on the chart? (just started tracking the symbol) or many? What quote source are you using?
I'm looking at a 5 hr. window of 5 min. bars and vol. is listed as 450,000---is that the total for the 5 hrs.? Using IQ feed.
I see mymini's posts have been removed from this thread. So for anyone who might think the software is "Mickey Mouse", I'm going to make this short and sweet, as neither I nor Quotetracker have anything to prove here, and I have to get back to my charts Quotetracker is like a toolbox that gives any type of trader, on any time/size/movement frame, of any type of security whose data can be streamed to the software, everything they need to put together a winning trading strategy and execute it consistently. The software is as sophisticated as the user ... While I could trade without the software, I really wouldn't want to. Best, Jimmy
By the way can you add "price labels" in QT like in stockcharts.com: Want to know exactly what the value of a stock was at each major reversal point? No problemo. Just check the "Price Labels" checkbox located just below any SharpChart and press the "Update Chart" button http://stockcharts.com/gallery/?goog Thanks!
