  1. I find this thread amusing as the originator never posted again and Mr. Medved has dominated the thread, I guess it would not look very professional if Mr Medved started the thread.

  2. Wow. You are wasting your time going back and picking out posts
to ascertain your accusations of "cheerleading" for QT? That's weird.

If you don't like QT, go away and shut up. If you think you can learn
how to use it in 1 hour, give up. It's too complex for you.

Perhaps you are not made to use QT. Go find an easier charting program to use.

You sound like you get frustrated 10 minutes after trying to use a new software dude...:D

Maybe you shouldn't even be trading in the first place...

  3. Your posts so far in this thread sure do not look professional...

You don't happen to have something stuck up your *** do you?

  4. Or maybe you are just a little inept when it comes to using new software?...:D

  5. I am being open minded about his software I am not expecting much for the price. Its design appears to be an on going process, like a car with alot of after market whiz bang products added to it rather than a thought out design. I see nothing wrong with using this software as you become familiar with your methods and techniques in trading.

  7. It appears version77 is a pitchman for various vendors. He becomes irrigated and hostile to anyone who questions Quote Tracker. Clearly a young inexperienced individual.

  8. I have a journal were I post my live P/L, called myminitrading. You see their is a big difference between you and I, I have no agenda and trade for a living. You on the other hand are a pitchman for QT, that is quit obvious.

  9. myminitrading, you definitely have a bug up your ass and go out of your way to express it every chance you get. If you have a question, you can ask it without the post being drenched with sarcasm.

MB Provides Level I and Level II data. There is no backfill for either intraday or Historical data. If you need that, you would need to get a 3rd party datafeed such as IQFeed:
    http://www.quotetracker.com/iqfeed

If you have another source that has backfill (IB for example) then you can use that for backfill by specifying it as the backfill source at OPTIONS/Data Sources menu, BACKFILL Tab (and HIST BACKFILL tab). Historical backfill will work for MB for US stocks because QT defaults to BigCharts for that.

You cannot change that MSFT historical chart to 5 minute frequency because 5 minute frequency would be an INTRADAY chart, not a historical. For Intraday, you need to open the intraday chart. Refer back to the backfill stuff above.

  10. I think for anyone who thinks this software is ready for prime time with millions or hundreds of thousands of dollars at stake should first do some trolling here.

Again if your just buying a couple hundred shares of MSFT for investment then this product would be fine for tracking your investments.

However if your a intraday trader, trading size and volume and need dependable accurate timely data well, your confidence in this product may be tested.
