And maybe the most important with QT is, that QT is the product where somebody takes care about it and really develops it. You know, that there is at least one product, where there is no development at all.
Jerry... Are you going to integrate with Genesis ? You have the best product/staff in the marketplace..... This would be a strong combination... Thank you for your work....
QT has some ingenious stuff on it that I havent seen anywhere else. I am totally satisfied with it, finally.
Maybe one of the niciest developments for me (at this stage) would be implementing scroll bars (right and down) in order to be able to see more charts than just on one computer screen. I can simply act just, if I am able to see the chart, not just the alert. Anybody agrees?
Hey Jerry, I notice that QCharts won't go back more than one day. I think you mentioned at one time that we'll have to leave it open if we want to get all the data, unlike, say, Prophet.net's feed where you can instantly backfill for ten days. Am I correct? Does the QCharts backfill have a bug or something that won't let you backfill for ten? Sorry for asking so many questions lately. I just started backtesting and I've been doing it nonstop last couple of weeks, and I'm trying to figure out all my options, including good data feeds -- I'm noticing some distinct discrepencies with different data feeds within QT, so...
sirpangolin QuoteTracker does not connect to QCharts data. It connects to Quote.com LiveCharts data (a QCharts account automatically has access to that). LiveCharts only provides 1 minute data for 1 day. Can go back further if you increase the frequency, but right now QT needs the data to be 1 minute OHLC. Other sources such as Prophet or IQFeed are better. they can go back 10 days in QT
Well it didnt take me long to come up with another request. Could you please add an audio alert for when the data connection is lost.
I hate audio alerts. Ninjatrader does that, and within five seconds I had it turned off... Darn, fiskin', fraggin, furgin', @#$%^& sounds... *sarcasm* Oh let's have an XM Radio feed while we're at it!! */sarcasm*
