  1. email support@quotetracker.com and indicate the quote source you are using, the QT version and the time settings you have on OPTIONS/Data Sources/QUOTES screen.

Also, do the quotes show past 3:30 in raw data, but not on charts, or do they stop at 3:30 everywhere?

  2. Hi Jerry...thanks for the reply.

Actually, raw data is perfect -- I can even see after-market data...

The charts start at 9:30 and end at 3:30. I've even deleted all the data associated with that particular symbol and re-backfilled and the same thing happens.

I can duplicate it over three symbols...the same thing happens with a seperate quote provider as well...

    I'm sending you my settings...

  3. Jerry, I figured out the problem.

I look at 30 minute charts. So it's not showing either first (?---10:00 then starting to increment per bar) or last (12:00---12:30----?)

Weird...I don't remember it this way before...

Wealth Lab does the same thing.

Maybe I've just noticed something that I've always overlooked...or maybe I need sleep...I've been backtesting nonstop for a week now... LOL.

  4. with 30 minute bars, the first bar will be at 9:30 (covering 9:30 to 10:00). The last bar will be at 3:30 covering 3:30 to 4:00. That is the standard way to show the bars

After a long thread I imagine, that everybody would like to see a schedule from QT team, what are they planning to do in their first three or five steps in next three or six months.

    Anybody agrees with this?

Jerry, can you put this together in this thread?

  6. lojze,

Don't you think this is asking a lot? I can't speak for the Medveds, but they need their freedom. You are trying to limit and trap them.

You get nothing for 5 years...how bout' that?

    or...

What would you say if they gave you their schedule and didn't do it? Then would you complain?

    Michael B.

P.S. Sorry but your post pisses me off and if I were the Medveds, I wouldn't do it. But thats why I am not a vendor or a CTA.

I don't want to force anybody, so if Jerry shares the same opinion, leave it.

  8. The list of things that will be implemented is a bit dynamic :). As a general thing, the stuff coming up is:
    * PATS data and trading integration (each broker will need to be configured though),
    * Historical Charts (same as Intraday) and all the changes that have to go along with that
    * IB Backfill
    * Integration with a few other brokers

Thats just the big picture. There are lots of other things that will be implemented.

  9. Mike...it's just a software development schedule...chill bro... :)

Every software development firm, be it the Medveds or Microsoft, have a list of expected features, enhancements, and revisions for the upcoming six months.

It's not too much to ask of a vendor to post what they are planning on in the next six months as long as it's not something competitvely disadvantagous...and if people are going to get all silly on the Medveds because XYZ widget wasn't released, then they just don't understand the software development industry.

Now if Jerry was developing NASA experimental code, then... ...we all would have to die. :p
