  1. I tip my hat to Medved and the QT support staff. I've been sitting on QT for some time but hadn't exploited all the nooks and crevices until the last month or so. I am somewhat fluent in too many languages to name and can cleanly right my own language from scratch. I found QT to cater to just about anything I can think of. Off topic there but I wanted to give my gratitude to the QT team. The tick charts are EXCELLENT (tick bars and volume is all I need and it's a killer)! I presume this is why they are there. My single curiosity is to whether it is possible to disable chart scaling or possibly specify the price scale on the chart (effectively fix scaling as opposed to filling the chart top to bottom with bars). This is nit picky but whether or not it is possible, it's QT all the way. The beta version mentions that this feature is available but I could not track the feature down. Is this true? In any event, I have ZERO affiliation with QT but willingly support it with a paid subscription.

  2. That feature was added in response to a long dialong earlier in this thread :). Refer to this post on our message boards:

Just another thought - Bonds & notes are displayed 11/16 or 5/8 or 31/32 or 23/64 or something similar. Is it possible to get them to show only as /32 without the reducing in fractions; just stay at 20/32 instead of 5/8?

May be for bonds to be like 114 1, 114 20

    Notes to be 113 120, 113 125.

    Thanks, Chris

PS. This would be in the main quote window, Never opened a chart, might have to see what that looks like.

As I am trying to move from Qcharts to QT, where can I get, say, one month old intraday 2-minutes charts?

I am also DTNIQ via QT subscriber.

  7. Right now QT will do max 10 days. You can open DTN.IQ software and probably copy/paste the data out of their screen for the longer time period.

We will have some changing in that respect in the future

  9. Hi Jerry...

Here's a feature request for you -- historical intraday playback... ;)

And BTW, do you know of any services that offer, say, 5-10 years worth of historical intraday data?

I'm wanting to do some backtesting in Wealth-Labs with something other than daily charts, and so in order to use 30, 60, 90 minute frequencies, I assume I'm going to need a nice big historical intraday feed...

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

we have Playback in QT but it is not released yet because the User Interface for it is still crude. It can replay whatever data is in QT. Right now QT max is 10 days.
