Would it be very hard to add that? That is the ability to add ASCII or CSV file formats and hold it in a QT file? Come on Jerry! I will use your program if you add this ok? Arn't you excited? I understand if you have priorities, however. Michael B.
They will require 3 days to put it in beta. I asked for Y axis scaling and it took 3 days. (It was probably being developed for months, but I was impressed none the less) Daily charting will probably be included next week. Right Jerry?
Wow, Could you imagine if Jerry did this....and then add some spot Forex Feeds... I could have so much fun with all those OHLC spreadsheets that I have!!!! oh my gawdddd Michael B. Hint: A candlestick forms off off OHLC data...I could manually alter the file to give me 28 hour bars for example...Hey that puts a new twist on things doesn't it!
ElectricSavant - don't have any plans to add reading from files right now. reiehaxm - I think we may have raised the expectations just a wee bit too high
Jerry, I have used your program for quite some time. I even subscribed - and I'm cheap. The one thing that I have always missed (now that we have the sliding window) is the ability to graph pairs or spreads. I have tried the translucent setting, but it doesn't really cut it. It would be great to be able to graph the difference in price between one stock or future and another. Any chance this will happen?
Eldredge, Thats another one of the things that has been on the todo list, but we just have not gotten to it yet
Rather than chasing every last suggestion, why don't you work on an API that would allow us to add indicators via externally compiled code? Then we could plot whatever we needed to plot, and you'd get a lot more help from third parties, and would be able to more directly compete with programs having built-in scripting, etc.
