You must have something set wrong. I only get about 1 scale change per hour at most. No big deal. During the deadzone you will see more scale changes but why even trade then? Eat lunch... Have a drink or two... relax... Or quit trading because you already finished your trading in the first two hours... You guys are making this "scale" thing sound like it is the biggest problem in the world. It is not unless you make it out to be. P.S. I believe this so-called "scale" problem is a AAA+++ plus feature for QuoteTracker. It is always fitting the data into the size of the charts you are using so you can see the data real nice and big. You just have to get used to it if it bothers you. I hope Jerry and Co. do not change QT in this area. It will make the charting WORSE...
So nice looking "eye candy" charts should not be allowed? And we must trade with MAs' like easyrider? Jeez... you must be kidding! Some traders like to use different indicators. So what? Live and let trade... Don't worry. Be Happy... As far as indicators, I think most charting applications have more indicators than QT...
Attached are two charts showing the same time period from this afternoon. The one on the left is an automatic scale. The one on the right is my normal chart with a fixed scale. Which one do you think gives a better picture? I have started a poll on another thread called Chart Scaling. Please stop by there and vote whatever your feelings on the subject.
No need to apologize. My skin isn't that thin one scaling option we were considering is the fixed X axis scale. Frankly, the Y axis scaling issue discussed here has been very rarely requested. Don't know why its such a hot topic here all of a sudden
How exactly do you expect to specify it. Do you say "I always want it to be 20 points" and allow QT to center the chart inside those 20 points, or do you want to say "I want it to be from 40 to 60"?
We implement indicators as we receive requests from users... If the indicator was never requested, it would not be there.
Did you look at the two charts above? If you dont see the value of it, then I give up and will continue to use Ensign.
Terr is Mike Medved - my partner (and brother). I had him look at the stuff, which is why he is asking the questions. Don't give up
Folks be patient. You got your message through. Because of ET, I actually have considered a test of QT in my near Future when I need it. Thanks to ET and the Medveds this traders Forum is working... Michael B.
