  1. jerry,

QT is quite PRIME TIME as it is. I used it daily for a month so far without a hitch.

anyhow, how do you get HSI and N225 futures charts in QT?

    what's the symbology?

    I've tried to do

    OSE.JPN:mad:JNIM4

but nothing came up... No quotes though it seems pretty thick on IB now. a 100 on each side..

    thanks!

  2. Thank you.

    OSE.JPN:mad:JNIM4 should be the symbol

  5. OIC. I didn't see it either. So, if it's not listed on prophet.net then it's not available on QT? Do you know of a free source of daily historical nikkei futures chart?

    thanks

  6. Quotetracker is a really great program, one reason I think that is important is you can configure it endlessly, none of the indicators have fixed settings and I find it good with lots of data ie it is robust. BUT the best part of it is that Jerry will email you back immediately and answer any kind of question you have Plus the program is constantly being configured for changing quote sources and Jerry is constantly adding new features and indicators. This I find very important and something to consider since I can't imagine a standard direct access program from a broker getting this much service without being very expensive monthly.

A registered quotetracker user of over a year,

  7. misctrader - if its not listed on Prophet.net, that means its not likely to be supported by them, and thus QT's historical charts. I stress that since the historical charts are unrelated to the other functionality in QT, so the quotes, intraday charts, trading, etc on the symbol would still work if your data source (IB in this case) supports it.

Chris - thanks. Though a lot of the support credit goes to Mazel - our support god, and a lot of the credit should also go to Mike Medved (brother and partner).

  8. I'm a paid subscriber, too, and I have been using Quotetracker for over a year now. Jerry, I thought this would be a good time to say Thanks to you. Without a question, Quotetracker is the best thing going. I recommend it to anyone serious about trading-- you want be disappointed.

    Good Trading to all.

  9. QT is PrimeTime for $5 a month. I've been using it so long I cannot
even remember when I started using it. Maybe "97" or "98" or so.
When did QT hit the Internet Jerry? It just keeps getting better
and better and better and better...

Sierra drove me nuts. So did Ensign... :(

LOL. More complexity is usually more difficult unfortunately. I think QT is fine for some uses but it misses quite a bit I like about Sierra (7 per month) and some things that might make me go to Ensign again (40 per month).

It depends what you want to do.
