I've been doing meditation since high school when I played sports and continue using it in college...have been doing such ever since. It's very helpful in relieving the stress, speeding up recovery before the next strenuous workout. The same is true for trading...does almost the same thing. Simply, its very useful. wrbtrader
Yep, rightoh, and I agree, I wouldn't wish to turn this into a religous debate as imo that is counter productive. But prayer (and take religion out of the equation for a moment) is imo about throwing a problem or issue outside of yourself. Trading requires full ownership, full responsibility, it's about using your gifted abilities to solve a problem. Just my opinion, but if one were to use a few tools like focus, patience, calmness, dedication, resolve, study, reading, etc they would achieve better goals.
Today I meditated on the fact that you display the logo of the International Coach Federation (ICF) on your website and that your about page says „I was also certified as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation.“ However, the ICF does not list you as a member nor a current credential holder. Could you enlighten me on that?
Meditation may be helpful. For me, adequate sleep and avoiding caffeine is way more helpful. Neither meditation nor a good night's sleep is a substitute for knowledge, skill and experience.
In the perfect world we should exercise, eat right, meditate, appreciate and smile.. Controlling one's breath and clearing one's mind is a lost art in today's world..
I'm still waiting for one of them to release a yoga or exercise video. I will be first in line to buy it.
