Ah, so if guns were harder to get, these perps would be in Church? It's the evil gun that made them do it? What a load of horseshit!
Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens trying to protect themselves makes criminals more dangerous.
Treat guns like a car. License, registration and insurance. Licenses will ensure competence, registration will ensure responsibility and insurance will ensure compensation for victims.
Again, where did I say take any guns away from law abiding citizens? Dude, seriously, you are brainwashed on this issue to the point you can’t even see the words I write.
This is a pic of 4 thugs in Chicago who murdered a 9 year old. Take a good look. Now tell me they need a gun to be dangerous. You can walk by a gun a dozen times, a hundred times, ten thousand times and that gun will never just jump up and hurt you in any way, shape or form. Walk by these thugs just once, gun or no gun, and they are likely to kill your ass. Quit making excuses to defend the thugs. They and they alone are the most dangerous thing a black person will ever encounter, with or without guns.
The Liberal position -- over & over again --- is to make it difficult for law abiding citizens to own or carry guns. With the laws that the left puts it places the maximum burden of paperwork and regulations on law abiding gun owners while not addressing the actual problem of violent criminals whatsoever -- except to be sure they get out of prison quicker to prey on more decent people.
As a person who trades and used to trade for a living I thought about that a lot. If you believe Capitalism is the best we know how to lift the most people up the economic ladder. If you believe the best allocator of resources is the market because price does a better job than govt planners. Then you should consider the fact that adding liquidity to markets has value for a society. Now personally I don't believe a day trader is any less valuable than an investor buying stocks for the longer term. The money has already been raised by the market for the business owner. The fact there is a market for the company or other stock owner to raise money is the valuable part after that. All participants may be equally valuable. (not sure about that last sentence.)
