I don’t understand why you guys just won’t accept that criminals are everywhere, it’s the access to guns that make them so deadly.
By definition criminals don't follow laws. What makes you fantasize they will follow guns laws. I will note that recent articles in the UK indicate that criminals are not following the gun laws while the citizens are defenseless. Trying to ban or limit common technology (guns) that are available world-wide is a futile effort.
First of all there’s 0.04 gun murders per 100,000 people in the U.K. vs 35 per 100,000 in the US. You could have chosen only Japan for a worse comparison. Congratulations. Just eliminate the large Democratic cities in the U.S. with strict gun controls laws then the U.S. has lower violence than the U.K.
