  3. UPDATE:

    In addition to my swing trading strategy on Collective2 which I showcase here in this journal, I have just created two more trading strategies that I trade in real money accounts which you can also copy in real time.

    Based in New York, United States, Collective2 has been around for 20 years and is CFTC registered and a NFA member. The Collective2 platform allows trade leaders to offer their strategy signals to followers in real time who can then copy them manually or for an extra monthly fee of $49 have them automatically traded inside your brokerage account.

    The 2nd strategy I've added to Collective2 is Trend Following Stocks which you can visit at the link below;

    https://collective2.com/details/138612730

    For this strategy I use my custom indicator Trend Candles which is currently included as a free bonus when you purchase www.BuySellBands.com - This indicator tells me when to get in and out of a trade. In this strategy I employ classic trend following principals of cutting losses and running winners. I run it on small cap stocks that have huge potential to appreciate in price. For more information about this strategy visit the link above and read the description.

    As a limited time special for EliteTrader members & readers you can get a permanent 30% lifetime discount on your subscription to follow the strategy. Instead of $100/month you will only pay $70/month - Use coupon code UGGL8728

    The 3rd strategy I've added to Collective2 is Selling Put Options which you can visit at the link below;

    https://collective2.com/details/138582903

    For this strategy I use my custom indicator Buy Sell Bands to determine which put options to sell, and I have a detailed process to find the right stocks to write premium on. I employ various risk management techniques to mitigate losses. For more information about this strategy visit the link above and read the description.

    As a limited time special for EliteTrader members & readers you can get a permanent 30% lifetime discount on your subscription to follow the strategy. Instead of $100/month you will only pay $70/month - Use coupon code UGLL44944

    As I've done with my 1st strategy I've opened two new trading accounts at Interactive Brokers for both new strategies and funded them with $50,000 USD each. All of my trades are automatically sent straight from my IB accounts to the Collective2 platform in real time with no interference from me. You can copy the trades manually via real time SMS/email notifications or for a small extra fee you can have the trades automatically placed for you inside your own brokerage account.

    All three of my strategies have different risk/reward profiles and target various factors in different assets, large caps, small caps and stock options so combined they offer diversity in returns and correlations to the overall market.

    My goal with every strategy is to outperform the S&P 500 index on a yearly basis and significantly over the long term. I plan on trading all three strategies for many years to come and invite anybody interested to get in early now at the discounted price and then sit back relax and let me trade for you. There is a hard limit set in Collective2 of how many followers can subscribe to each strategy to preserve liquidity requirements for those following along. Once all available spots are taken no new subscribers will be accepted.

    If anybody has any questions feel free to ask here or send me an email at support@buysellbands.com and I'll be happy to help you.

    Jared.

  5. Here's a quick update to how all 3 of my strategies on Collective2 are tracking, it's still very early days but we're off to a green start across the board. I use my custom indicators to trade all 3 strategies.

    If you're not ready to subscribe and copy my trades just yet, you can simulate my strategies with 1-click for free in a 500k play money account on the Collective2 platform, see here for instructions https://support.collective2.com/hc/en-us/articles/115011617447-The-one-click-SIM-

    Thanks for being so open.

    My concern is what happens to the strategy in a down market. That the price of all stocks will fall so that they will hit the exit well below the entry price.

    Any chance off seeing the whole portfolio?

  8. All my open trades are shown in the google sheet in my 1st post of this thread, and yes as we've already discussed previously the portfolio will experience similar volatility to the market and there will be losing trades however due to my short trade duration and high turnover my strategy still has a good chance to be profitable in an ongoing bear market as there's always plenty of bear market rallies that last several weeks or longer.

    I'm okay with having 20-40% drawdowns every other year as part of any robust trading strategy, that doesn't bother me and it's needed to succeed imo, as I'm going for 10x that in long term returns. Trying to avoid drawdowns with any strategy is impossible. Even the most successful hedge fund to ever exist, Renaissance Technologies, had a 20% drawdown last year.

    That make me feel pretty good about mine. My biggest drawdown in 2021 was from Sept 1 to Oct 4 of just over 4%. Return YTD is 32%

  10. Very good, those numbers give a Sharpe ratio of around 7 which is exceptional and if sustainable would put you in the top 1% of the hedge fund industry.
