The GOP, even before MAGA, has focused on stirring outrage over issues that are, in reality, peripheral to most people. You saw how the ‘left’ here responded with concern and alarm over Tony Stark's sharp turn toward extreme progressivism.

Many of us warned repeatedly that this burn-the-boats approach could end in tears, but TS decided it was better to risk losing in 2024, believing that the experience would somehow bring people back to progressivism after seeing the reality of what they thought they wanted.

Personally, I’m skeptical of the 'what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger' philosophy in practice.

But @wildchild, you have never been right that I or 'we' believed propoganda like you say, that is projection.

This is one example of why the bulk of America was disgusted with the DEI policies of the Biden/Harris administration -- leading to Harris's election loss. Forget this individual's antics with cross-dressing, etc. -- they were also a criminal who regularly stole people's luggage at airports and committed other crimes. Yet somehow the Biden administration supported this character to the bitter end.

Also fired for stealing a suitcase at an airport, not the same thing however as putting a man with that much TBI up for missile shield.

Walker Says His Mental Illness Is Healed. Experts Say It’s Not So Simple.
Most patients manage dissociative identity disorder, according to experts, rather than cure it. Herschel Walker, the G.O.P. Senate candidate in Georgia, says he has “overcome” his illness.

" In his 2008 book, Breaking Free: My Life with Dissociative Identity Disorder, Herschel Walker described 12 alters, or separate identities that used to take over his psyche. "

    Prayer no doubt.

He was dismissed following a charge of stealing a woman's high-end suitcase from a carousel, as one expects involving somebody with a security clearance.

Walker's history of serious mental illness (he has literally played Russian roulette) should preclude him from getting his clearance. But now all bets are off.

Loyalty trumps dangerous mental condition. As it were.

You bought Russia collusion. It was a lie.

You thought Joe Biden was mentally competent. It was a lie.

You bought the line that Kamala Harris went through a democratic process to be nominee. It was a lie.

You bought that Kamala Harris was a strong candidate. It was a lie.

The list goes on and on.

You need to free your mind because the Obama's are filling it with lies.

Do you still believe Bengazi happened because of video?

    Benghazi didn't happen now?

It most certainly happened. US intelligence went and told Obama it was a coordinated attack but Obama lied and claimed it happened as a spontaneous event because some guy in California made a Youtube video.

Just read this. This is coming from a Kamala Harris supporter.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney is accusing the Obama administration of a protracted "cover-up" over its response to last year's terrorist attacks in Benghazi, and says "they lied" about what happened during the attacks to protect "the false image of competence that was the basis" of President Obama's re-election campaign.

Cheney, the controversial political figure who faced plenty criticism of his own during his tenure in the White House, called the Benghazi attack "one of the worst incidents, frankly, that I can recall in my career."

"Well they lied," Cheney accused during an interview on Fox News Monday. "They tried to cover it up by constructing a false story, claiming there was confusion about what had happened in the Benghazi compound. There was no confusion."

Ah, Benghazi video is conspiracy tarder shorthand.

Ten committee hearings, quite a circus.

"In sum, while the committee identified security and intelligence failures and criticized the administration's public response, they found no evidence of a deliberate conspiracy or a cover-up. The findings reignited debates over security policy and administrative responsibility but did not bring new evidence of direct misconduct by top officials."

The video's impact was largely coincidental in relation to the Benghazi events. Although it did trigger protests in other countries, including violent demonstrations at U.S. embassies in Cairo and Tunis. There was some uncertainty at the beginning if it was a part of it.

    Shit happens sometimes.
