And so it is inevitable for the left to lean toward atheism and absurdism. Brighter people, especially as they grow increasingly impassioned over injustices and crises, find absurdism a necessary release valve, a way to critique power structures while avoiding despair or rigidity. What we are not, however, are Marxists, communists, or whatever labels they insist on repeating. The right depends on us for their survival in ways beyond their comprehension. They remain ungrateful, branding us as “elites,” failing to recognize that we value goodness over money, and progress over blind tradition. Though we do like money though. However, tradition is a complex thing and important to both sides in different ways. There you are @echopulse, the last few posts are a primer for what is actually going through our little heads. Organized as a lesson because teaching something is best way to grasp it.
I am this kind of Marxist. Now I'm off to Pricesmart as somebody drank the rum. I think a large apple pie will help things generally. Possibly a NY style pizza.
I want them all.. They don't have cooking apples here, these are imported frozen.. Not a communist. Apple pie, jalapeño pepper jack, pizza, mashed potato, sugary junk... Tea as antioxidant.. and Amercian blue jeans for my wife's nephew. How could I be a communist?
So the communist enclave is so badly off that they have to import frozen food to sell in special stores meant for the elites. Sounds a lot like USSR. P.S. -- Enjoy your apple pie!
