I am a very stable nutcase. We prefer the term absurdist. I'll explain something, on my passive income from rentals and savings from lucrative tech consulting I retired at 42. I moved to Panama for the obvious tax reasons and then Colombia (which is a painful place to manage taxes) because I met a good woman. I started to trade futures to have a profession for said tax reasons. My now wife was OK for years developed a fiendishly rare vision loss problem and since 2018 I have focused on the laborious task of doing labs and adjusting drugs for her. I retired from trading in 2020 because my team and I made a lot and I was beginning to have heart issues. I didn't feel stressed but my trading style was cortisol city. I already had stents from injuries years back. So I have a lot of time, how would I even have lived to post all these years anyway? Colombia and Panama are cheaper, they are not free.
