Another thing. If you can't manage your money at $8.00 an hour, making $12 an hour makes zero difference. You will still struggle. This entire argument about increasing min wage is ridiculous in reality.
Of course it makes a big difference! They could now purchase your monthly subscription and trade with the price drivers!
lol, maybe tha's what Surf meant, they will soon move to negative income! Kidding Surf, no idea how good your tips are. And yes 50% income increase must make quite a difference ( I'm not sure how much of minimum wagers' total income come from their wages though, social welfare adds up quite a bit in some countries)
What a stupid point!!! by that same token we should reset CEO pay back to 1890 levels. After all a pay rise does not make a difference.
I see you can't read in context-- i realize english isn't your first language, so I'll explain If someone can't manage their money, a pay increase isn't going to help them. Understand?
wtf dude, you are the one who quotes things out of context. Did you forget to include the last part of your post? -> "This entire argument about increasing min wage is ridiculous in reality." Your point remains ridiculously stupid: a) If someone cannot manage with an $8 per hour wage then he/she may very well manage with 15 or 20 per hour. Of course unless you were talking about junkies or other addicts. b) My point stands: Saying that "This entire argument about increasing min wage is ridiculous in reality" should equally apply to CEO pay that has skyrocketed just because corporate governance in the US is down the toilet and compensation committees are unfathomably short-sighted. No CEO deserves 100 million in compensation, not over 1 year, 10 or lifetime. No matter how much share holder value increased. If CEOs have an issue to have their pay kept constant (let's ask them how they would feel to be paid average CEO pay at 1965 levels) then why should minimum wage earners not have an issue?
Man are you ignorant. I imagine you are a student with lots of arrogance and no experience-- right? Obviously someone who has never had much money-- otherwise you would get it. Go back to your cubicle and think before you post--
